No I don’t think I need it, my mood is good because of my mood stabilizer and APs and my sleep is good too. I don’t want to add other meds when what I’m doing works so far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For me it’s just a matter of not buying the junk food. If it’s not in the house I don’t go out of my way to get it , and when I have nothing but healthy food in the house I don’t binge

I got 9 hr. of sleep last night, but I woke up this morning exhausted to the bone. I know I've been pushing it hard doing a lot of walking lately. Also, and this is the main thing, I have PMS, my app says my period is due to start in 2 days and that does tend to cause me fatigue though usually not quite this much. I did a pilates video this morning. It doesn't burn a lot of calories but it does work on toning the abs, legs, and arms. The series I like the instructor does stretching at the end of the video, which always feels really good.
I have actually lost some weight since starting Lamictal even though it's been weight neutral in the past. I'm snacking less but I'm starting to think (and hope) that my metabolism is picking up a bit. Depakote was such a bad weight gainer for me! My BMI is normal, it wouldn't cause a doctor any concern, but I still want to fit into my old jeans which are a size smaller.

I have lost 6.6 pounds in the last 2 weeks. I had crackers and a protein shake for breakfast. I also had a cream soda Pepsi and I got a diet Dr. pepper with sweet cream from Sonic. It was 810 calories, 126 carbs, and 36 grams of protein. I have about 700 calories left. Not sure what I’ll eat for the rest of the day. I have my canolelli pasta from yesterday. Not sure what else. I forgot to make overnight oats again. I have more than half of the box I got last month. All I have to do is just put the milk and mix in the shaker and shake it for 10 seconds and put it in the fridge. I wonder if the shaker will do the same thing with salad and dressing. Like those old salad shakers from McDonald’s my grandma would get.

I believe Lamictal can give you extra energy and then you work out more vigorously and this way, indirectly, it can lead to some weight loss.

@Tart Cherry Jam - You're right. I have had more energy during my morning walk lately, and my pace has been quicker than it had been in a long time, my daily active calories burned higher. I just wish Lamictal would alleviate PMS fatigue too! LOL

My energy is much better today than it was yesterday. I was able to go walking for 6.3 miles. I did unfortunately have dissociation going on the first 3 miles; on the other hand, dissociation while I'm walking is nothing new for me (I have dissociation off & on a lot, pretty much daily, it's been happening since I was a child so the upside is I'm used to it even if I don't like it). It also made 45 min. of walking go by very fast since I don't even feel like I'm in my body when I dissociate. I'm just glad traffic was extremely light for a work & school day today.

Personal training and 20 minutes of very light pedaling on the recumbent bike. Had to stop after 20 minutes because the top of my left knee started hurting.

Ate plain oatmeal with some fresh blueberries and a splash of plain unsweetened almond milk for breakfast today.
I think lunch will be a little bit of leftover turkey helper, have like 1/2 cup of that leftover , that, a baked sweet potato and asparagus Not sure about dinner yet, maybe eggs, whole grain toast and avocado Taking a 30 min walk to my psychiatrist appointment today. 15 min there 15 min back. I may or may not get on the treadmill later for 30 min. Depends if I feel up to it. I only slept 5 hours and got up at 4am so it’s gonna be a long day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My walk today ended up being 6.5 miles. I forgot my reflective vest and decided to go home for it. I start my walk when it's still dark, and sometimes I have to walk in the street because it's common for cars to park blocking the sidewalk. They are not supposed to, but this rule is never enforced. It was so nice when we'd visit my inlaws in the Los Angelos area because the no parking on sidewalks rule was always enforced in their neighborhood. (Plus, the weather was always. nice.) I'm just lucky there are sidewalks here, I guess even if they are not well-maintained.
My weight is the lowest its been in a long time, still a healthy BMI, not to worry. Now I'm getting noticeable ab definition. I think a lot of the weight I want to lose now may just be muscle. I'm just wanting it to shift around a bit; really whether I lose it or not probably isn't the main point. I may need to start rotating pilates with walking since the pilates focuses a lot on toning exercises.

Following my run on Monday I think I’m coming down with cold, gargling with salt water and spraying my nose with saline solution, no running for me especially with the wet weather which has restarted again unfortunately.

Blueberry, if you have a Bodyspec center in your area, then can do your DEXA scan to determine fat and muscle mass. Losing muscle mass is never good. An definition is great, I hope you get yo keep it.

It's come as a bit of a surprise that I have so much muscle mass now; after that last hospitalization, I had lost most of it. But the muscle has settled not quite as I like it (too much in the stomach area I think) which is why I think I need to try to focus more on toning (even if OCD or ED impulses make me feel like I need to walk every day). I'm pretty sure it's not fat as my ab area is firm (my legs & arms too, come to that). Or maybe just cut the walk down to around 30-45 min./day? It takes just over 1.5 hr. for me to cover 6 miles. I'm just not sure.

I can’t eat creamy soup and now I also can’t eat stew. They are both too heavy on my stomach. So far I’ve just had 3 pieces of sourdough bread for breakfast.
Not sure if I want to go up on the Wegovy. I’m seeing a big difference in just the minimum dose. I’ve been eating pretty decently besides the diet soda. I had a couple pieces of birthday cake but besides that it’s mostly been fruit, vegetables, protein shakes, cheese, nuts, and steak or chicken

Doing good with healthy eating and exercising. Find myself not obsessing about junk food, cravings have gotten less intense and when I do have them I’m able to have a healthy alternative. I did really well with stocking my fridge, pantry, and freezer with only healthy food. No temptations

I slept over 9 hr. last night, but physically I woke up pretty tired. I think it is because my period is due any day now (or possibly not until next week, I'm still trying to figure out this perimenopause thing!).
Somehow, I still managed my 6 mile walk, but it wasn't easy. The good thing is I tend to interact with other regular walkers and dog walkers, especially when I go to the park like I did today. It's nice to have some human interaction of the uncomplicated variety which doesn't feel uncomfortable and doesn't make me anxious. Even though I initally wanted to drop my weight a bit more (to fit into my old clothes), I've decided my current weight will have to do. Otherwise, it would mean having to lose muscle, and quite honestly, if I look at myself in the mirror, I'm just toned and my abs are just more muscular than they've been in the past. I do want to add more pilates to the mix though I get OCD about walking every day, and it's hard to break that cycle. Could be remnants of ED overexercise syndrome as well...sigh.

Well I’m coughing and spluttering with this horrible cold and not moved from the sofa today - add to that I got a no email from the race ballot I entered. My mojo is so flat right now.
