I have to move out of my place on Mon. due to upcoming renovations and I'm really behind on packing - I'm nowhere ready.

Just need to buckle down today and tomorrow and get it done.

Thanks everyone.

@divine1966 In answer to your question, it's a temporary move, and I'm only moving a couple of houses down the street. The charity that operates my housing, found a spot for me in one of their other buildings that I can stay in while the construction is happening. This was actually a huge plus as otherwise I would have had to find a short term rental someplace which would have been a pain and expensive.

Well I survived yesterday's move with minimal issues and am reasonably settled in my new place which is a lot larger than my old place. Had some glitches getting connected to wifi but that's been resolved.

Now to unpack.

I missed the whole thing, yes moving is a huge stress. Happy unpacking. Do you need to move back again or can you stay in this new place?

@Nammu, I'll move back to my old building in approximately 6 months once the renovation is done. I want to move back - it's a better building, and all women, whereas now I'm living with all men.
