I had a colonoscopy on the 15th. I had an endoscopy on the 11th. I felt fine right after the colonoscopy. But ever since I've had these mood swings and trouble sleeping and this bad temper and irritabilty. Idk if its related to the procedure. My therapist says I'm just crashing from being in survival mode for so long from dealing with this health stuff.

Does anyone have any input or suggestions?

Sometimes it takes a few days to feel normal after anesthesia. It could affect your mood. But it’s been long enough now for it to be out of your system. I think like your therapist said you’ve been sick for so long with no end in sight so that’s likely why. Colonoscopy itself isn’t known to affect moods. I hope you got some results and can get better now

Could it be the stress of having these tests? Worry about them and the outcome?

I was a bit wobbly a few days after mine, but I was sick afterwards- I was given fentanyl which is a pretty strong drug. If you have had something similar maybe it could be that.
