How long does it take mania and psychosis to go away? I’m only on my third day of my increased Vraylar. Still not sleeping a lot. Wrote a thank you letter to my church choir director. Can’t figure out if I wrote it or the bipolar symptoms did! We’ll see what and if she writes back!

Google says it takes 3-8 weeks for the meds to work fully! Omg. I can’t go that long with psychosis!

My pdoc usually says meds should start to be noticeably working about 4-5 days as the blood levels start to level out there. Google is talking about when it is fully in the bloodstream but that's not needed for the med to be working.

Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. Clozapine 250 mg, Emsam 12 mg/day patch, topamax 25 mg, ,Gabapentin 1600 mg & 100-2 PRN,. 2.5 mg clonazepam., 75 mg Seroquel and 12.5 mg PRNx2 daily |

I slept from 1130 to 6 last night. I did wake up at 3 but was able to get back to sleep. I don’t feel that all-over achiness that I did two days ago.

For psychosis 5-6 days but of course that was in the hospital, the mania a couple of weeks maybe, sometimes less. But of course, I'm on different meds than you are.

If your Sza you can have psychosis whenever, whether your cycling or not. So you could have just hypomania and psychosis. I'm Sza but my BP part presents more like bipolar II according to drs. I don't think that's accurate but I didn't go to school for 8+ years.
