Just when my favorite case manager leaves, I get my section 8 recert. paperwork in the mail! I do it every year but it’s such a huge chore that takes a whole month!

I hate the section 8 paperwork, I'm sorry you have to do it with a new case manager.

I used to have to do that, but funnily enough now that I live in a HUD senior building my yearly paperwork in much simpler. I just need my medical expenses, bank statement and? One other thing that excapes me. Oh my SS statement. This is so much easier than when I had sec 8. I remember having to keep a binder for all the stuff sec 8 wanted. The lady I saw at sec 8 always said I very prepared, but it was a headache.

I keep a copy of the previous year’s paperwork so at least that helps out with stuff that’s the same.
