I’m starting this thread for those of us who are past the year mark after your last menstrual period. And also for those of us who have chosen HRT.

I’m currently moving from the combipatch- I forget the dose and I threw the empty box away- to vivelle-Dot Estrogen 0.075 patches (generic) paired with 200 mg per night progesterone to be taken on an empty stomach right before bed as it makes you drowsy.

I’m worried about side effects from both but everything I’ve read on Google says this is the appropriate regimen.

My OBGYN who prescribed these and I had a video visit about this new regimen. But of course I read the pamphlets that came with both and now I’m scared and I’m supposed to start them tomorrow.

Google also said I could have breakthrough bleeding. I don’t have any leftover pads.
